Statsbowl team members will pick football games each week and turn them in 1 hour prior to the first game of the week. Failure to do so will result in that team automatically receiving all the underdogs.
*-in the event of two team matched up against each other failing to send in their picks by the deadline, the double forfeit rule will take into effect; both teams will receive a score of zero for that week as well as a loss.
Scoring will be as follows:
Every time the team you picked wins a game, you score one point. if the team ties. it results as 1/2 point. At the end of the week the wins are totaled against your opponents wins. the team that scores the most wins for that week will receive credit with a win for that week.
In case of a tie, then we will go to the MOVTB (Margin Of Victory Tie-Breaker)Example
Team A and Team B are tied at 11 games
Team A selected San Francisco while team B selected Tampa Bay
TB defeated SF 35-3
Team B currently has a MOVTB rating of +32
Team A selected Carolina while team B selected Washington
CAR defeated WSH 28-10
Team A has a MOVTB rating of + 18
(+32)-(+18)=14
Team B wins the week with a MOVTB of +14
